1/3 tsp Tumeric powder
1/3 salt or more if you like
2 tblsp cooking oil
1 or 2 small Shalott peeled and sliced thinly
1/2 cup water
Instruction:
Heat oil in wok or a panAdd Shalott- cook till light brown
Add the squash. and salt.Stir
Add water. Stir. Close lid.
Stir occationally till done.
As for the mushrooms:
Put as much sliced mushrooms as you like in a skillet. Close lid and cook in mediumheat. It will produce it's own water and cook. Stir occasionally. Add salt and herb to your liking. Enjoy!Note:
These two side dishes go very well with steak on the grill.
We like to eat them with grilled beef filet.Sometimes,
I add corn strach diluded in cold water to the mushrooms
turing it into a mushroom sauce to pour over stake.
