Simplified Korean Chabjae


To me This dish is like life in  general, variety of colours, tastes, textures, and shapes of vegetables, noodles and meat not to mention oils and seasonings all in one bowl.  
It also takes time to make it.  So, patience is a part of the recipe.
Like life, it is flavourful and delicious. Enjoy! 
Ingredients
  • 1 pound port tenderloin, cut in very thin strips
  • 4 cups cooked bean threads or glass noodles
  • 1 large onion, cut in bite size 
  • 2 tablespoon cooking/vegetable oil 
  • 3 table spoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup each of sliced Zucchini & mushrooms
  • 1 cup asparagus, cut in 2” pieces
  • 1/2 cup carrot, cut in small strips
  • 3 table spoon fresh Garlic, smashed 
  • Korean Soya Sauce
  • Plenty of patience and time
Instruction
  • Cook bean threads in boiling water, 
  • Drain, wash in cold water - set a side 
  • Have a very large bowl near by 
  • put a little bit of oil in skillet and cook
  • One kind of vegetable at a time
  • put the cooked vegetables in the large bowl
  • When all vegetables are cooked
  • add noodles into the bowl
  • Pour sesame oil and mix them well
  • Add soy Sauce till desired saltiness 
  • Enjoy!
